Ruling

PROBATE CALENDAR AUGUST 7, 2026

4. CONSERVATORSHIP OF PAMELA B.L., 25PR0350

Petition for Instructions Re: Temporary Out-of-State Relocation of Conservatee

On July 28, 2026, the Public Guardian filed an ex parte application to shorten time on

its petition for instructions (also filed July 28, 2026) authorizing it to temporarily relocate

the conservatee to an out-of-state psychiatric facility in Sparks, Nevada for a behavior

and medical evaluation, as well as stabilization, for a period not to exceed four months.

The petition indicates that, once the conservatee is stabilized, she will be returned to her

current facility in South Lake Tahoe, California — Barton Skilled Nursing Facility. The court granted the ex parte application and set the instant hearing on the petition

for August 7, 2026. Proof of service attached to the petition shows it was electronically

served upon the public defender on July 28, 2026. To date, no objection or opposition

has been filed.

Absent objection, the court grants the petition.

TENTATIVE RULING # 4: ABSENT OBJECTION, PETITION IS GRANTED AS REQUESTED.
