Real Property/Housing Court Law and Motion Calendar for May 5, 2026. Line 5.1. PLAINTIFF UNITY PACIFIC, INC. MOTION FOR JUDGMENT ON THE PLEADINGS is DENIED. Defendant's wording errors in the Verification do not give rise for a Judgment on the Pleadings pursuant to CCP 438. Additionally, contrary to Plaintiff's assertion CCP 446 does not required "that a verification state the pleading is true "from" the party's own knowledge." (Memorandum of Points and Authorities 4:15-16).
