(a)A subregional board shall elect from its membership a presiding officer, assistant presiding officer, and secretary.

(b)The board may appoint, as necessary, members or nonmembers as assistant secretaries.

(c)The secretary or assistant secretary shall:

(1)keep permanent records of each proceeding and transaction of the board; and

(2)perform other duties assigned by the board.
