(a)On delivery to and acceptance by the commission of an instrument conveying to the state an interest described by Section 391.181(a), the commission shall prepare and transmit to the comptroller a voucher covering the commission's costs in acquiring the interest.

(b)The comptroller shall issue a warrant on the appropriate account covering the state's obligation as evidenced by the voucher.
