View on sourceAfter determining that the operation of the conservation district is administratively practicable and feasible, the state board shall divide the conservation district into five numbered subdivisions that are as nearly equal in area as practicable. The board shall appoint one director each from the subdivisions numbered two and four. Those directors shall perform the duties required by this subchapter and shall serve on the initial governing board of the conservation district until the regular election for those subdivisions.
