View on leginfo.ca.govA county board of supervisors may designate an existing local voluntary commission, board or council in order to carry out the purposes of this article. The commission shall either be a commission whose duties are primarily related to services for children, with special emphasis upon child abuse and neglect prevention and intervention services, or whose duties relate to human services.
