View on leginfo.ca.govAny person who knowingly makes any false statement or representation in any record, report, plan, or other document filed with the district, or who falsifies, tampers with, or knowingly renders inaccurate any monitoring device or method required by the district, shall be punished by a fine of not more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six months, or by both.
