View on leginfo.ca.govThe district may exercise the right of eminent domain to take any property necessary or convenient to the exercise of the powers granted in this part. In the exercise of such power, in addition to the damage for the taking, injury, or destruction of property, the district shall also pay the cost of removal, reconstruction, or relocation of any railways, mains, pipes, conduits, cables, poles, or other structures or facilities of any public utility or public agency which is required to be moved to a new location.
