§ 2202

Statute text

(a)The proper county for the commencement of a proceeding for the guardianship or conservatorship of the person of a nonresident of this state is either of the following:

(1)The county in which the proposed ward or conservatee is temporarily living.

(2)Such other county as may be in the best interests of the proposed ward or proposed conservatee.
