View on leginfo.ca.govBefore acquiring any real property for a police station, the district board may submit to the voters in the district at a special election, or at the election for a commissioner, the proposition whether or not land shall be acquired and a police station built thereon; or whether or not land on which a police station, or a building suitable for a police station, has been erected shall be acquired. The approval or disapproval of the voters shall be binding upon the district board.
