View on leginfo.ca.gov“Member” means any person included in the membership of the retirement association pursuant to Article 4, and includes safety members as defined in Sections 31469.3, 31470.2, 31470.4 and 31470.6, or any person who has elected in writing to come within the provisions of Article 9.
