View on leginfo.ca.govA member of the board of supervisors shall not be accepted as surety upon the official bond of any officer of a county or judicial district of his county. The sheriff, county clerk, tax collector, treasurer, recorder, auditor, assessor, or district attorney of the same county shall not become sureties upon official bonds for each other.
