As used in this chapter:

(a)“Dam” includes all artificial obstructions.

(b)“Conduit” includes pipe, millrace, ditch, flume, siphon, tunnel, canal, and any other conduit or diversion used for the purpose of taking or receiving water from any river, creek, stream, or lake.
