View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)Notwithstanding any other law, the examining committee shall be responsible for the approval, regulation, and oversight of degree-granting unaccredited law schools that meet both of the following:
(1)Award the juris doctor (J.D.) professional degree in California.
(2)Are not approved by the American Bar Association or the Committee of Bar Examiners.
