View on leginfo.ca.gov(a)Any person applying for a license as a psychologist or registration as research psychoanalyst shall, in addition to any other requirements, show by evidence satisfactory to the board that they have completed training in human sexuality as a condition of licensure. The training shall be creditable toward continuing education requirements as deemed appropriate by the board, and the course shall not exceed more than 50 contact hours.
(b)The board shall exempt from the requirements of this section any persons whose field of practice is such that they are not likely to have use for this training.
(c)“Human sexuality” as used in this section means the study of a human being as a sexual being and how a human being functions with respect thereto.
