Department 18 hears law & motion in complex cases on Wednesdays, and a July 1 hearing date is 14 court days from the hearing on this application. To allow adequate notice of the motion, the hearing date is advanced to July 8, 2026 at 1:30 provided that Plaintiff files the motion consistent with the Code of Civil Procedure. Plaintiff's request to extend the time to file a motion for class certification is granted.
