Ruling. This matter is continued to June 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Petitioner is ordered to address the following: 1. A Supplement to Petition, signed and verified by Petitioner, must be filed to provide the following information required by the Petition for Letters of Administration: a. Was Decedent survived by a registered domestic partner? (Item 5a(3)-(4).) If so, please provide their names, ages, relationships to Decedent, and address. b. Was Decedent survived by any issue of a predeceased child? (Item 5a(7)-(8).) If so, please provide their names, ages, relationships to Decedent, and address. c. What is Oscar Carlson’s relationship to the Decedent? (Item 8.)
2. The Petition does not identify the proposed administrator in Item 2b. The Attachment requests that the Court appoint the Public Administrator. In order for the Court to be able to do this, the following items must be filed: a. Written consent to serve as Administrator signed by the Public Administrator. b. Written consent to the appointment of the Administrator signed by Oscar Carlson.
3. A proposed Order must be submitted to the Court on the mandatory form “Order for Probate.” (Judicial Council Forms, form DE-140.)
4. All documents must be filed or submitted at least five court days prior to hearing. (Super. Ct. Marin County, Local Rules, rule 6.2(b), Filing, Hearing, and Continuance Procedures.)
