PLAINTIFF MAHDI BOUKHAROUBA's, AN INDIVIDUAL, Motion To Compel The Depositions Of The Person(S) Most Qualified Of Defendant 3850 18th Street Housing Associates, L.P., A California Limited Partnership; And The Person(S) Most Qualified Of Defendant Bridge Property Management Company, A California Corporation, And Requests For Production Of Documents, And Request For Monetary Sanctions Against Defendants And Defendants' Counsel.

Plaintiff Mahdi Boukharouba's motion to compel the depositions of the persons most qualified of both defendants and production of documents by the deponents, and for monetary sanctions is denied in its entirety.

Because defendants have agreed to produce deponents for both depositions ("one to complete and one to commence"), the portion of the motion seeking to compel the attendance of the deponents is moot.

Nowhere In plaintiff's moving papers is there any identification of what documents plaintiff asks this court to compel the deponents to produce, much less a separate statement as to those documents, and thus the portion of the motion seeking production of documents is denied.

While plaintiff's counsel asserts that he "attempted to meet and confer," he does not cite any evidence that he did so and thus the portion of the motion seeking sanctions is denied for failure to meet and confer.

The text of the email shall include the name and contact information, including email address, of the attorney or party who will appear at the hearing.

Counsel for the moving party is required to prepare a proposed order which repeats verbatim the substantive portion of the tentative ruling and must email it to contestdept302tr@sftc.org prior to the hearing even if the tentative ruling is not contested.

The court no longer provides a court reporter in the Law & Motion Department. Parties may retain their own reporter, who may appear in the courtroom or remotely. A retained reporter must be a California certified court reporter (CSR), for only a CSR's transcript may be used in California courts.
