Defendant Uber Technologies Inc.'s motion to dismiss or stay action based on forum non conveniens is granted in part. The court stays this action so that Plaintiffs may pursue their claim in France. The stay is conditioned on Uber Technologies Inc.'s waiver of any personal jurisdiction or statute of limitations defenses to Plaintiffs' proceeding against it there. The tentative ruling in its entirety has been sent to counsel via email.

Counsel for the prevailing party is required to prepare a proposed order which repeats verbatim the substantive portion of the tentative ruling and must email it to contestdept301tr@sftc.org prior to the hearing even if the tentative ruling is not contested.
