PLAINTIFF'S MOTION TO STRIKE PORTIONS OF DEFENDANTS' ANSWERS is DENIED without prejudice. This motion seeks to strike the entirety of 3 answers on file (except for the first two pages) on the grounds that "the answers contain irrelevant and improper matter, including voluminous unnecessary attachments containing, among other things, confidential bank account number and settlement correspondence."
The only "specifics" as to the matter subject to being stricken included in the Notice and motion are "bank account number" and "settlement correspondence." There is no indication that the entirety of all the attachments are bank account numbers and settlement correspondence. There is no discussion as to why each page of the answer is subject to being struck.
The Court notes that Plaintiff filed an untimely supplemental brief, which is stricken. However, the Court notes that the case cited in the untimely brief exemplifies the need to address and analyze each and every document allegedly improperly filed. See Overstock.com, Inc. v. Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (2014) 231 Cal.App.4th 471, 508-510. =(501/CFH)
