Defendants 520 Live, Inc., 3200 Fillmore Street, LLC, Goth Inc. and Fillmore Entertainment Group, LLC's ("Moving Defendants") Motion for Entry of a Protective Order is DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Moving Defendants' motion presumes their motion to consolidate has or will be granted. The motion to consolidate, however, has been denied. Victoria Salcedo v. Kathy Munoz, Case No. CGC-24-620869 is not a matter assigned to this department and this department does not enter orders granting relief in cases not assigned to it.
As for Kathy Munoz v. 520 Live, Inc., Case No. CGC-24-613018, the motion makes plain that the parties to that action can stipulate to a proposed protective order. Of course, the parties are obligated to undertake reasonable and good faith efforts at informal resolution of any discovery dispute. It is apparent that as to this case those efforts are unexhausted or are likely to be fruitful.
Moving Parties are advised that they are not free to change the caption of a case, absent court order. The parties are advised in this department courtesy copies must be single-sided. Moving Party must prepare a proposed order which repeats verbatim the above tentative ruling and email it to contestdept302tr@sftc.org prior to the time set for this hearing.
