Defendant Gary Kaplan's motion to compel plaintiff Kathleen Cronin's responses to form interrogatories, set one, is granted. The court further awards sanctions.
Kaplan propounded this discovery to Cronin on April 16, 2025. (Aslanian Dec. para 3 & Exs. A & B.) Cronin has not responded. (Id. para. 8.) By failing to timely respond, Cronin has waived her objections to the discovery requests. (CCP 2030.290(a).) Cronin is ordered to serve verified responses, without objections, within two weeks of notice of entry of this order.
Kaplan seeks sanctions. The court concludes that the failure to submit to an authorized method of discovery is a misuse of the discovery process and orders Cronin to pay $460 to Kaplan within 30 days of notice of entry of this order.
