200800328986PRCE: In The Matter of Elise Waxman 08/25/2026 in Department J6 Account and Report 4th Account & Report for the period of 03/01/24 through 02/29/26
The Court notes the following issues with the 4th Account and Report:
• Paragraph 7(a) of the report notes that there were 3 checks written to Helen Waxman totaling $930.83, but only 2 checks are listed: (1) #1229 for $445.00 (reimbursement for medical transport) and (2) #1257 for $12,440.00 for half the cost of the new roof. Both of these checks are reflected in the Schedule C Dispersements.
• House charges: Elise owns half of the home in Simi Valley. Both the homeowners insurance payments and the cost of the roof indicate that Elise is paying for half of the expense. o 2/25/25 payment of $695 for Earthquake Insurance does not indicate if this is half the total insurance amount or the full amount. o Property Taxes: Based on the Tax Collector information it appears that Conservator has paid the entire amount of the property taxes for 2025 and 2026, not half.
• Supporting Documents: Per Probate Code section 2620, subdivision (c)(2), the filing shall include all account statements showing the account balance as of the closing date of the accounting period of the court accounting. The relevant closing date is 2/29/26. o Pacific Western: Statement only through 7/11/24 with a balance of $37,867.33. Account is not listed on Schedule F property on hand at end of period. No statement as to whether this account was closed. o Genworth Life Annuity: Petition erroneously states period ending on 3/31/25 but statement is quarterly statement from 4/1/26-3/31/26. Does not show account balance as of 2/29/26.
• Conservators Fees: Listed as Additional Charges are services for Mail Received. It is unclear what this service is.
