Before the Court are two matters: 1) Petition to Appoint Successor Trustee; and 2) Transfer in from Sacramento County Re Removal of Trustee. PETITION TO APPOINT SUCCESSOR TRUSTEE On March 27, 2026, Petitioner, Allison Pohl (“Petitioner”), filed a Declaration by Attorney for Trustee Regarding Petition to Appoint Successor Trustee, proposed Order, and Notice of Hearing. No Petition was filed with the Court. An Opposition was filed by Respondents, William T. Groome and Chloe T. Groome, on April 23, 2026.

A Response to Objection was filed by Petitioner on May 11, 2026. The Court continued the matter to May 18, 2026, to allow counsel to file the Petition. The Parties thereafter stipulated to continue the hearing to August 24, 2026. To date, the Court is not in receipt of the Petition to Appoint Successor Trustee. TRANSFER IN RE REMOVAL OF TRUSTEE On February 19, 2026, Petitioners, William T. Groome and Chloe E. Groome (“Petitioners”), filed a Petition to Remove Trustee for Breach of Trust, Compel Accounting, and Appoint Successor Trustee by Beneficiary in Sacramento County.

An Objection was filed by Trustee, Allison Pohl (“Trustee”), on March 27, 2026, wherein Trustee solely challenged Sacramento County’s jurisdiction and asserted that venue is appropriate in El Dorado County. On April 8, 2026, the Sacramento County Superior Court transferred the matter to the El Dorado County Superior Court. This Court is in receipt of the certified copy of the case file from Sacramento County. TENTATIVE RULING #13: APPEARANCES ARE REQUIRED AT 8:30 A.M. ON MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 2026, IN DEPARTMENT NINE.
