CASE NUMBER: 25CV-0208558 Disclosure by the Court: The Court makes the following disclosure to all parties in this case. Judge Benjamin L. Hanna discloses that his spouse is an employee of the Shasta County District Attorney’s Office. That office represents Petitioner, the People of the State of California, in this action. The Court has no reason to believe that Judge Hanna’s spouse had any involvement in the investigation, management, or prosecution of this case, but does find it appropriate to disclose the employment relationship between the Court’s family member and counsel for the People of the State of California.
This asset forfeiture matter is on calendar for review regarding status of criminal proceeding. The District Attorney filed a status report informing the Court that the criminal matter was trailing for a trial assignment. The matter is continued to Monday, July 27 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Department 63 for status of the case. Status statements shall be filed at least five court days in advance of the next hearing.
