20 A. Procedural History 21 1) Petitioner Jhane Kieanna Brooks (Mother) and Respondent Marcus Benjamin Landry (Father) 22 have one minor child together, Karson (DOB 3/6/2018, age 8). On 3/16/2020, the Court awarded 23 sole legal and sole physical custody to Father with parenting time for Mother on Saturdays from 24 10am to 6pm. Thereafter, Mother’s parenting time was gradually increased but legal custody 25 remained with Father. There are several notations in prior court orders regarding Mother’s 26 disruptive behavior in court. In an order filed 11/20/2024, the Court ordered Mother to complete 27 at least 12 hours of anger management classes. 28 2) In a Findings and Order After Hearing filed 3/19/2025, the Court ordered a 2-2-5 parenting time 29 schedule and ordered the parties to ensure the child is enrolled in therapy on or before 5/31/2025.

1 3) On 12/11/2025, Mother filed a request for a change in custody, parenting time, and for an order 2 permitting her to travel more than 100 miles away from home during winter break. 3 4) Father filed three responsive declarations opposing Mother's requests, on 12/26/2026, 1/2/2026, 4 and 4/27/2026. 5 5) The Court has reviewed the parties' declarations. 6 B. Findings and Orders 7 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 8 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 9 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 10 child is the United States. 11 2) The parties shall appear at 9am on 5/14/2026 in Department 404 in person or via Zoom 12 video. 13
