Procedural History 17 1) On 2/10/2026, Petitioner Adam Rannels filed a Petition for Nullity against Respondent Gloria 18 Carrillo-Rannels.
Petitioner states the parties married on 3/5/2023 and separated 10 months later 19 on 3/1/2024. Petitioner states the parties have no minor children in common. Petitioner requests 20 that the Court terminate the Court’s jurisdiction to award spousal support to either party and to 21 confirm that there is no separate property or community property to be divided. 22 2) Per the Proof of Service of Summons filed 2/10/2026, the Petition for Nullity was personally 23 served on Respondent on 2/10/2026. 24 3) Respondent has not filed a Response to the Petition for Nullity but has filed other pleadings in 25 this matter. 26 4) On 3/17/2026, both parties filed Declarations Regarding Service of their Preliminary Declarations 27 of Disclosure. 28 5) Now on for hearing is Petitioner’s Request for Order filed 3/24/2026 asking the Court to annul 29 the parties’ marriage on the basis of his physical incapacity.
1 6) Respondent filed a Responsive Declaration on 4/30/2026 stating that she “consent[s] to the order 2 requested” and “consent[s] to the facts and supplemental facts that have been submitted to 3 support our case.” 4 B. Findings and Order 5 1) The Court finds good cause to grant Petitioner’s request for an annulment on the basis of physical 6 incapacity under Family Code section 2210(f). 7 2) The parties may submit a proposed Judgment through the Court’s normal Judgment submission 8 procedures. If the parties have questions regarding how to do this, they may contact the ACCESS 9 Center.
