Ruling

PLACER COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT FRIDAY, CIVIL LAW AND MOTION DEPARTMENT 1 COMMISSIONER CHRISTINE S. DEHR TENTATIVE RULINGS FOR AUGUST 7, 2026 AT 8:30 A.M.

6. S-CV-0039419 LAKELAND WEST CAP 31 v. MANN, JOGA

Defendant Riki Mann’s Amended Motion to Quash Levy and Release Funds

The motion is denied without prejudice.

Defendant has not shown that plaintiff and/or the recorded assignees were properly served with the current motion. The original proof of service does not identify that all parties were properly served or at what addresses they were served. The amended proof of service also fails to serve all parties while also failing to identify when service occurred and the method of service. The court declines to entertain the motion until such time as defendant properly serves all parties and assignees of record.
