19 A. Procedural History 20 1) Petitioner Jason Conn (Father) and Respondent Darla Sharp (Mother) have one minor child 21 together, Silver (DOB 11/22/2016, age 9). The parties are not married. Father is self-represented. 22 Mother is represented by attorney Adam Wilson. 23 1) On 10/13/2025, Father filed a request for order for custody and visitation (parenting time), child 24 support, and attorney fees and costs. Mother filed a response on 12/26/2025. 25 2) On 10/13/2025, Father filed a Simplified Financial Statement stating that he earns $2,100 per 26 month in salary / wages as a bus driver and that he incurs $600 per month in visitation expenses. 27 3) On 12/26/2025, Mother filed a Responsive Declaration asking that the Court award Mother sole 28 physical custody and order joint legal custody. Mother also asks the Court to deny Father’s 29 request for child support.
1 4) On 12/26/2025, Mother filed an Income and Expense Declaration stating that she is a UX 2 Manager for Google and earns $18,600 in gross per month. 3 5) The parties attended mediation and reached an agreement, which was filed as a Stipulation and 4 Order on 12/31/2025. Among other things, the parties agreed to share joint legal custody of 5 Silver, with a temporary parenting time schedule for Father. The parties agreed to return to 6 mediation at 9am on 3/20/2026 and to continue the hearing on Father’s request for order (on child 7 custody, visitation (parenting time), child support, and attorney fees and costs), currently 8 scheduled for 1/8/2026, to 4/14/2026. 9 6) On 1/29/2026, Father filed a Declaration. 10 7) The parties attended mediation on 3/20/2026 and did not reach an agreement. 11 8) On 3/30/2026, Father filed a Reply Declaration asking the Court to make orders regarding 12 Silver’s school and other custodial orders and reiterating his request for child support. 13 9) On 4/6/2026, Father re-filed his Reply Declaration originally filed on 3/30/2026. 14 10) On 4/10/2026 Mother filed a Declaration. 15 11) On 4/10/2026, Mother also filed an Objection to and Request to Strike Petitioner’s Reply 16 Declaration for Exceeding the Page Limit Set by the

Findings and Order 18 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 19 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 20 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 21 child is the United States. 22 2) The parties are ordered to appear at 9:00 AM. 23
