Case No. Title / Description

20CV-02413 Rita Harrison et al. vs AMIHR, LLC et al.

Order to Show Cause Re: Sanctions

Appearance required. Defense counsel, Ronald Tran, is ordered to appear and show cause why sanctions should not issue for failing to appear at the status conferences on May 6, 2026, and July 6, 2026. Prior counsel of record, William Weissman of Littler Mendelson is NOT REQUIRED TO APPEAR, pursuant to the declaration filed in related matter 20CV-02414, reflecting Mr. Tran’s substitution into the case around August 2025, and failure to file a substitution of counsel with the court.

As to attorney Thomas Segal, counsel of record for Plaintiffs, the Court finds GOOD CAUSE NOT TO ISSUE sanctions for failing to appear at the status conference on July 6, 2026, based on the declaration of counsel filed July 14, 2026.

Order to Show Cause Re: Dismissal

Appearance required. Appear to address the status of the motion for final (sic) approval for which notice was given by Plaintiff’s counsel on May 6, 2026. The Court has no record of motion for preliminary approval of a settlement.
