Defendant Short Story, Inc.'s Motion for Leave to File Cross-Complaint Against Albert Garcia is OFF CALENDAR. Plaintiff has not demonstrated their moving papers were timely served. As an independent grounds, the parties are set for trial on 4/13/2026, just seven court days away. The trial judge will be in the best position to adjudicate this motion. The court, thus, orders this motion off calendar and instructs the parties to address the issue to the trial judge.
