On Plaintiffs Motion for Order Approving Settlement of claims Brought Pursuant to Private Attorneys General Act of 2004, Plaintiffs Counsel is to appear, IN PERSON (not by Zoom) at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, July 31.
This motion was continued from its prior hearing date of July 23 for, inter alia, counsel to provide information as to the amount the named Plaintiff is receiving for settlement of his own claims above and beyond what the class members are receiving. Plaintiffs counsel filed a supplemental declaration that redacted the amount that Plaintiff is receiving. As indicated in the Courts July 23 order, the Court requires this information prior to granting this motion. Plaintiffs counsel shall bring to the July 31 hearing the Plaintiffs settlement agreement as to his individual claims for the Courts in camera review so that the Court can consider the amount Plaintiff will be receiving, what claims the settlement agreement covers, and what claims are released.
