The Motion for Determination of Good Faith Settlement (CCP 877.6) filed by Jack Adamson, Pacific Rim Property Management on 07/01/2026 is Granted.

Defendants Jack Adamson’s and Jack Adamson dba Pacific Rim Property Management’s (“Adamson”) unopposed Motion for Determination of Good Faith Settlement is GRANTED.

This a landlord-tenant dispute in which plaintiff tenants Elaine McCall and Anthony Presley (“Plaintiffs”) allege claims sounding primarily in breach of the warranty of habitability and retaliation against defendants property owner and property manager.

The claims against Adamson settled for $120,000, which Adamson’s counsel declares is 40% of the monetary damages alleged or sought by Plaintiffs in the lawsuit. Adamson contends that the settlement amount is reasonable and in good faith because the property owner, defendants Agnes and Kenneth Mitchell are at least 60% responsible for the untenantable condition of the leasehold property.

The moving papers contain a proof of service indicating timely and effective service on the other parties to this action. There is no record of any Opposition papers filed with the Court or served on Adamson.

Wherefore, Adamson’s Motion for Good Faith Settlement Determination is GRANTED. Therefore, pursuant to Section 877, subdivision (b), of the California Code of Civil Procedure, Adamson is hereby discharged from all liability for any contribution to any other parties.
