Accordingly, this matter is off calendar for CMC; however, the Court admonishes Defendant as to submission of an order after hearing which includes a dismissal of the action.
6. CU0001178 Gregory Ludlum vs. Joshua Terranova, Executor, et al. No appearances are required. Based on the representations of the parties, the Court continues the case management conference to May 15, 2026 at 9:00 a.m., in Department A to permit additional time to complete mediation.

Defendant Sutton National Insurance shall file a responsive pleading to the Second Amended Complaint, or Plaintiff shall file a request for default or a request for dismissal of Defendant prior to the continued court date. Plaintiff shall provide notice of the continued court date.

On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to April 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Department A. A third amended complaint has recently been filed. Defendants shall file a responsive pleading, or Plaintiff shall file a request for default (as appropriate) or request for dismissal of Defendants at least two weeks prior to the continued case management conference date.

As to the CMC, no appearances are required. The case is not at issue. Accordingly, the CMC is continued on the Court’s own motion to April 17, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. in Dept. A.

Plaintiff shall show cause why sanctions should not be issued or this matter dismissed for failing to file a Substitution of Attorney or Notice of Representation or provide an update on the status of obtaining representation as ordered by this Court on November 21, 2025. The Court also desires a status update as to this matter as no Answer has been filed, and both parties continue to ignore the mandate of filing a Case Management Conference Statement.
14. CU0002143 Joan Donaldson vs. Albertsons Companies, Inc., et al. No appearances are required. On its own motion, the Court continues the case management conference to April 17, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in Department A. The Court admonishes Plaintiff for failing to file a request for dismissal as to Defendant Hilbers as was indicated would be done on January 26, 2026 and orders such to be filed forthwith. In the event said defendant is no longer being dismissed, then Hilbers shall file an Answer or Plaintiff shall seek entry of default as to this defendant prior to the next CMC. Plaintiff shall give notice of the continued case management conference date.
Additionally, Plaintiff failed to timely file a case management conference statement let alone any statement. Plaintiff is ordered to timely file case management conference statements in the future. Failure to do so will result in the Court issuing an order to show cause re: sanctions in the amount of $250.00. The Court reserves jurisdiction to consider the instant failure in conjunction with any future failure to file a CMC Statement.
15. CU0002187 MA Construction, et al. v. Jingwen Li, et al. Appearance required by Plaintiff to advise as to the status of the case. The Court notes a hearing is set for March 9, 2026 yet believes this hearing is set in error and intends to clarify its purpose at the CMC. This case has already been deemed ripe for dismissal pursuant to CCP section 583.420.
