PLAINTIFF’S MOTION FOR FINAL APPROVAL OF CLASS ACTION AND PAGA SETTLEMENT

The motion is denied without prejudice. On July 1, 2026, plaintiffs filed this motion, just 4 court days before the hearing on July 8, 2026. (Friday, July 4, was a court holiday.) Pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 1005, subdivision (b), and this Court’s order granting preliminary approval, the motion must have been filed at least 16 court days before the final approval hearing. Counsel did not timely file the motion, seek an order shortening time, or request a continuance of the final approval hearing so the motion is denied without prejudice
