LUNA) 11) 12 MC-051 - NOTICE OF MOTION AND MOTION TO BE RELIEVED AS COUNSEL - CIVIL 13 TENTATIVE RULING 14 Having read and considered the pleadings, declarations, and other evidence submitted in this matter, the 15 Court makes the following findings and orders: 16 1) The parties are Petitioner Kristen Porras and Respondent Sixto Christopher Porras. 17 2) On 4/20/26, attorney for Respondent, H. “Raja” Gill ("Counsel"), filed a Request for Order and 18 supportive declaration asking to be relieved as counsel due to a breakdown in the attorney-client 19 relationship. 20 3) Counsel’s request to be relieved as counsel is GRANTED as the Court finds it is unopposed. 21 4) Counsel shall lodge an Order Granting Attorney’s Motion to be Relieved as Counsel (MC-053), 22 which the Court will execute and mail a copy of the fully executed MC-053 to Counsel. 23 5) Counsel must then serve a copy of the fully executed MC-053 on his client and file a Proof of 24 Service demonstrating service with the Court. 25 6) Counsel shall prepare the Findings and Order After Hearing. 26 7) Preparation of Order: If you are directed by the court to prepare the order after hearing – within 27 10 calendar days of the hearing you must either: (a) Serve the proposed order to the other 28 party/counsel for approval, and follow the procedures set forth in CA Rules of Court, Rule 29 5.125(c), or (b) If the other party did not appear or the matter was uncontested, submit the

1 proposed order after hearing directly to the court. Failure to submit the order after hearing within 2 10 days may allow the other party to prepare a proposed order and submit it to the court in 3 accordance with CA Rules of Court, Rule 5.125(d). 4
