Procedural History 19 1) The parties are Petitioner Katherine Woo (Mother) and Respondent Brian Arroyo (Father). The 20 proceedings herein relate to the parties two minor children: Brandon (DOB: 05/08/10) and Lucas 21 (DOB: 02/15/13). 22 2) On March 27, 2026, Father filed a Request for Order seeking a modification of the existing child 23 custody and visitation orders. In particular, Father is requesting: 24 a. Joint Legal Custody; and 25 b. Holiday Schedule. 26 3) On April 27, 2026, the Court held a “Readiness” hearing and the Court referred the parties to FCS 27 Mediation on June 11, 2026 and scheduled the matter for a return hearing on June 18, 2026. 28 4) On May 26, 2026, Mother filed a Responsive Declaration, which has been read and considered by 29 the Court.
1 5) On June 3, 2026, Respondent/Father filed a declaration which has been read and considered by 2 the Court. 3 B. Findings and Order 4 1) This Court has jurisdiction to make child custody orders in this case under the Uniform Child 5 Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act. A violation of this order may subject the party in 6 violation to civil or criminal penalties, or both. The country of habitual residence of the minor 7 child(ren) is the United States. 8 2) The parties are ordered to appear. 9
